Mmm Mmm Mmm... It just gets beter and better.  When I got home today, what did I find but a package from IMIX with the Custom Double Doobie Discs!

Man those 4 new tracks are just so great.  I'm gonna take off the morning of 10/3 so I can be at Planet Music when they open, and get my hands on Sibling Rivalry.

I've heard an early demo version of On Every Corner, and was eagerly awaiting the finished version with the whole band, and it surely does not disappoint.  A thought provoking song, and we get to hear Keith sing too!  After Saratoga this year, I spent Saturday night in downtown SanFrancisco, and had a chance to really see the streets, and those who call them home.  The words of that song were ringing in my head.  I can't pretend I don't see them, but if I look, how do I feel?

Fourty Fifth Floor kind of reminds me of TJs solo albums.  Just something about the progressions of notes and chords, that give it that feel to me.

And Ordinary Man...  Well for me it's a new South City Midnight Lady.  I'm gonna turn down the lights, and the volume, and slow dance with my wonderful wife to this tune.

The liner notes are great too.  Not that anything in there is a surprise to any of us, but it's nice to see what we knew all along in print for the whole world.  I really loved the part where it says they decided to work on the album while touring, so they could "keep their chops up".  Keep their chops up?  These guys are the definition of having your chops up.  Any questions on that, listen to Road Angel, or Don't Start Me, or Dangerous from the Vegas shows!

And after those great new tunes... I GET TO HEAR MOTORCYCLES!!!
