Earlier in the fall season, the West Wing had a Doobie reference. It was a
flashback to when the fictional president was elected. People started
celebrating and the song Celebrate by Kool and the Gang started. The Josh
Lyman character said "Turn that stuff off, we need some Doobie Brothers."
