After Tommy departed the band and Michael McD came on board in 1975, the
Doobies continued with their Stampede tour.

With Tommy's departure, the Doobies had to re-shuffle the deck for lead vocal
duties. Pat took over lead vocal duties on "Rockin' Down the Highway" &
"China Grove", while Tiran Porter took the lead on "Road Angel". Mr.
McDonald was asked to take over the lead vocal duties on "Eyes of Silver",
"Take Me In Your Arms", & "Long Train Runnin'" while Keith handled vocals for
"Sweet Maxine" & "Listen to the Music"....
A highlight was "Nobody" where Pat, Tiran, and Michael all shared lead vocal
duties.
