Hello Everyone,
OK, the sleigh has undergone it's annual safety check, all necessary repairs
have been made, and some upgrades scheduled for the spring. The last piece of
Reindeer antler was finally removed from the sleigh's grille just the other
day... I'm sure many of you have been shopping for the kids at Stanford as I
have, and the time is NOW to get those toys boxed up and sent to 4550 Grinchy
er, I mean 4550 Grimsby Dr. in San Jose so they can be loaded up and
delivered to the kids. The sleigh will be loaded next Saturday morning, with
delivery taking place between 1:00 and 4:00 PM. The U.S. Postal service is
sometimes slow at this time of year as you all know, so don't wait until the
last minute to get your packages sent out. Unlike United Airlines, the
sleigh's flight will not be delayed or cancelled. The sleigh's flight record
of 100% on time departure and arrival times WILL be kept spotless. The kids
are still in need of many items, and we have a ways to go to surpass last
year's total, so let's all pull together and make this year's Toy Drive
another roaring success! Remember, all donation packages must arrive by next
Friday, December 15th. Your thoughtfulness and participation are very much
appreciated.
