This gentleman approached the article in a very Mark Antonyish way. First
he appears to come to the defense the Doobies, because "they are so easy to
hate." That is a first. People hate one-hit wonder chewing gum bands, not
the Doobs. That approach is like buying your best lady a set of surprise
breast implants because "you want her to look her best." With friends like
that you don't need any enemies.

He threw in a couple of English Language fringe words too, ones that not
even the Hollywood elite critics use. ("hint hint, Doobie fans who are
reading, you are not sophisticated")

The comment this gentleman made about the box set only being purchased by
diehard fans who would pay $500 for a leather jacket with a Doobs
logo.......tells me that he's had a run-in with a fan club member before.

I hope it was with Nick. I hope Nick had some chains with him too. I
would pay to see that.

There are a few back handed compliments in that review, if you read
between the lines. The writer did compliment China Grove, South City
Midinight Lady, Black Water and Take Me In Your Arms. Where is this
"organ" intro, he hears in Minute By Minute?I believe it's an electric
piano (maybe a Fender Rhodes). Jack
