Hi folks. Just a quick note to let you know what I heard this week. A friend of mine at work just returned from a cruise during the Christmas/New Year holidays. On this cruise several bands/musicians performed including our own Michael McDonald. The lady who works with me said "he still has those piercing, sexy blue eyes and soulful voice". She said that Michael's voice is not quite as deep as it used to be, but still simply wonderful. He took a lot of time to meet with fans, sign autographs, answer questions, and generally visit with everyone who wanted to hobnob. She said that Asleep At The Wheel also was on the ship, and performed well. In a nutshell, she had a great time. It's good to hear firsthand how 'ol Mike is getting along these days.
