I tallied up the other day how many Doobies records, tapes and CD's I have
bought across the decades and I estimated the following:

Records: 37 (I replaced my collection twice)
Tapes: 21 (Several car break-in's resulted in lost tapes, but in one
stereo stealing, the bandits threw the Doobies tape on the floor that was
in the stereo....I was incensed!!)
8-tracks: 4 (I found the Vices 8-track tape playing in my parents "hidden
in-home stereo" machine hidden behind a wall board in 1988, after 13 years
of endlessly playing over and over.....heheheheehehe). The tape was
disintegrated but some of the rollers were still turning I think. My
parents were not too techno-music savvy and they forgot about the stereo.
CD's: 19 and still counting.

All in all, this equates to 1,550 dollars (constant dollars) in Doobie
media merchandise.

What a fun time though.
