Hi everyone. Just so you know, I never meant to piss anyone off, it's just that
sometimes the list sounds more like something out of Tiger Beat Magazine than a
serious Doobie Brother fan club. I love the Doobie Brothers, their music. I've
played it for years picking apart all the pieces that make it special, studying the
music theory behind it. It always made me wanting more. Gina, I didn't mean to
offend you, and yes I can hit delete. Glenn, I hope the best for you and a speedy
recovery, but I am not an idiot, and to whoever it was that made the bastard comment,
your not worth a response. I first joined the list a couple months ago and made a
post about hearing the Doobie's on a radio talk show and was bombarded with e-mails
about my political beliefs and why would I listen to this person, the funny thing was,
I don't. I'm looking for more on the Doobie Brothers, their music, their lives, what
makes them tick, what kind of amp they used here or there, what was inside !
there head when they wrote the songs. Stuff like that, I thought that is what the list
was about. I guess not. So please accept my apologies to all those on the list I
offended. Joel
