I remember reading an article, and I don't recall where but Jeff Baxter said that the
solo was a one take, running his guitar straight into the board with no effects. He
said he sat down, lit a doobie, played it once and left. Take it for what it's worth.
I will say that Jeff Baxter is one of the most interesting players I have ever heard.
As far as I can tell, he does not use any of the standard scales, boxes, theory etc.
during his leads. He really does have his own style. I also remember he played with
BB King once and when they were done, BB said "you can jam with me anytime" or
something to that effect. Imagine how that must have felt to hear BB King say that to
you!! Cool............. Have a great weekend, Joel
