Glenn's right. The Doob's do belong in the RRHOF. Then again, I can
think of at least a dozen bands that belong there. If anyone has watched
both the Grammys and VH1's 'My music awards' it's painfully obvious that
some institutions have their head up their asses when it comes to music.
The most blatant example of this was when Jethro Tull won 'Best Heavy
Metal Album' over Metallica. Hey, I like Tull but anybody who knows the
band will tell you they are not metal. Along side the Doob's, my vote
for induction would have to go to Rush. Someone actually started an
online petition to get Rush inducted but it didn't work. If you're
illing because the Doob's aren't in there, then I suggest you ignore
the RRHOF (maybe it'll go away) put some Doob's on and turn it up.
After all - Music is THE doctor!
