My Dooberiffic Friends, It is with a heavy heart that I must tell you...I won't be going to LA for the Fan Club Convention. I am truly bummed, not only because I'll be missing my dream opportunity to meet the Doobie Brothers, but also because I was looking forward to meeting all of you. There is a flip side to this, though. I will be going to the wedding of one of my nieces. She just got engaged last week. Her beau is a great guy, and he's had a crush on her ever since junior high (over 10 years). It's a great story, and I'll be glad to be there when they tie the knot. So, think of me in Little Rock, AR when you're whooping it up in LA, CA!
