It should not surprise us by the way the Hall of the Stupid works. Unfortunately,
politics runs just about everything in our country. It's really a shame when it has
infiltrated the way the musical (heros) are chosen. Wether or not the Great Doobie
Brothers ever get chosen will never reflect on what this band has accomplished for
themselves and us as their fans. As far as I'm concerned, if they will not be chosen
on what they did musically, but by who they know or what record exec. they golf with,
then screw it. And by the way people talk about the character of the Doobie's, I'm
sure they feel the same way. It's not an honor if you didn't receive for the music,
and that is what I think the Doobie Brothers are about, the music music music!!!
