DOOBS

Over the past 4 + years, I've enjoyed an incredible amount of good things associated with this F/C and members that I have met along the way.  There have been friendships made that will last forever, and some, that won't.

Given some of the disparaging comments of the past few days, it becomes apparent, that it is time to say good bye, but not, without saying some thank you's.

To Laurin, for his relentless pursuit of his dream, and the attainment of almost all of it (if he weren't so busy, he might make the remaining 5% of what he didn't accomplish).  He has been the rock, and has put of with more than his share of crap.  And given that I know how he got into the office, I admire him more.

To Marti and Marla, for doing the F/C jackets, one of which I will cherish for a long, long time to come.

To Chris Passanissi, for taking over the Toy Drive after we resurrected it in 1997 and turning into a success, even with a slight slippage last year.

To Chris Snyder, for all the time and effort put into past Saratoga conventions.

To Torrey Leininger, for incredible energy on the century ending show in A/C with a great meet and greet.

To John Rollason for all the work he has put out on the web site.

There are many, many more of you out there....these folks represent just a few, and I believe the rest of you know who you are.

Most of all, to The Doobie Brothers, for providing me some of the happiest times that I can store in my memory banks, and pull out to recall.  They are the consumate performers, and the best of friends.

After I send this note, I will be dropping a line to majordomo to un-subscribe from the list.

I wish each and everyone of you health and happiness, and good Doobiness wherever you are and whatever you do.

C ya
