Ben - Is that remote controlled? How much space would you need? It's certainly a welcome addition.I've put you both (Isaac and Ben) down on my list.Isaac - I'm sure folks would be happy to provide you feedback at Makerfaire.

I dont imagine a remote controlled car would be "safe" enough for maker faire. On Fri, Jul 18, 2014 at 11:59 PM, benjamin barber <[email protected]> wrote:
I guess last message bounced. I have this I can take to omsi maker faire. I was part of the OMSI MakerCorps previously, and helped organize the makerfaire. But honestly, it would be great to have some sort of fun activity, I was thinking that I could put Ray Kennedy's boombox in it.
Tethering the flying saucer that I saw at last month's meetup would be great as well.On Fri, Jul 18, 2014 at 11:48 PM, <[email protected]> wrote:
I'm currently working with Tom on a Solar Wall Socket concept that we might crowd fund in the next few weeks. Here's a draft of the Kickstarter page:Do you think that would be a good project for Maker Faire? Feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.Isaac-------- Original Message --------

I'm already in communication with Omsi about Maker Faire and one of my projects so you'll probably see me there possibly with flame effects. :D
Sova - Sent from my mobile phone, please excuse brevity and typos.

-AaronHello Again Dorkbotters,I just received a pleasant reminder email from Sonali at OMSI that MakerFaire applications are due next Friday (the 25th)
I haven't yet had any responses on my original email about participants.
Portland MakerFaire is Sept 13, and 14th this year. We've usually faired pretty good weather and we will have a booth (well, provided there's anyone else besides me :) ) Last year we had a whole host of folks out with a wide-variety of projects. I think there were 8 of us alltogether under about 30 feet of tent.
So - interested in sharing? Shoot me an email. The more, the merrier.
thanks!
