I have 5 power chairs taking up space in my storage unit. Most are Permobil
brand, and some are 'standing chairs' which can articulate upwards. These
things have expensive heavy duty linear actuators, powerful DC motors, motor
controllers, wheels, etc. and would probably make great robot platforms or
sources of parts for other projects.
I have some 24v battery chargers and some spare parts (wheels, etc) as well.
Caveats: batteries are included but condition is unknown. You must take the
whole chair, batteries and all!
