According to https://lists.launchpad.net/dolfin/msg24818.html the oneiric openmpi package has a serious bug.
Garth, do you think dorsal should build openmpi (and at least parmetis+scotch, anything else?) from source on oneiric? I'm about to install on oneiric now, so I can test the changes (if they are necessary). -j.
