Ubuntu is a South African word; the company behind the Ubuntu Linux distribution is Canonical Ltd, registered in the Isle of Man although with various offices around the world. The Isle of Man is part of the British Isles and is thus British (but not part of the United Kingdom, Great Britain or the European Union). Oh. I seem to have come over all pedantic. Sorry about that. -- Next meeting: C4L and Bournemouth, Wednesday 2010-06-02 19:00 http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2645413 Chat: http://www.mibbit.com/?server=irc.blitzed.org&channel=%23dorset List info: https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/dorset
