Good that you're pleased with it, but that release of Debian is over five
years old (http://www.debian.org/releases/sarge/). Is there an
update/upgrade available?
Probably not, http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=20118
I've just read on this link
http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=45781
that Netgear is about to drop the Duo model, hence why they are a good
buy at the moment. It also says there hasn't been a firmware release in
over a year, but 4.1.7 is in beta and should be released soon. It is
needed as it doesn't currently support 4k sectors used on larger drives
(2+GB).
I installed the APT.bin addon and added the backports
to/etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://archive.debian.org/debian-archive/backports.org
sarge-backports main contrib non-free
deb-src http://archive.debian.org/debian-archive/backports.org
sarge-backports main contrib non-free
The updates listed were
# apt-get -u upgrade

Not sure the 4.1.7 firmware moves from sarge, but other models firmware
4.2.15 is etch. The new features in 4.1.7 are
