RapidPCs in Christchurch are both very good and reasonably priced. Their
turnaround is pretty swift too.

Well, that's a sensible alternative to patching up XP every time it
keels over. Of course, it depends upon what the PC is used for, but if
like my family PCs/laptops it is mostly for browsing, email and word
processing then it is an ideal low-maintenance solution worth considering.
