My Previous PC died so I have had to change PC's and at the same time took the opportunity to change distro. I am now running Linux Mint Debian Edition.
I have a HP 2600n colour laserjet printer which is on my network, I can connect to it and print a test page without a problem from the print control panel in gnome. I can print from gedit and Thunderbird (there might be more) but I can't print from Libre Office or Adobe Acrobat. When I try nothing happens. If I open HPLIP I can print any document through that interface without a problem.
This printer worked perfectly with my previous distro Mepis 8 so I know it will work with Linux
