Hi

I have two CUPS servers: Debian Squeeze, CUPS 1.4.4. One (helix) has browsing enabled:

Browsing On
BrowseOrder allow,deny
BrowseAllow all
BrowseLocalProtocols CUPS dnssd

The other (fleet)

Browsing On
BrowseOrder allow,deny
BrowseAllow @LOCAL
BrowsePoll helix.domain.co.uk

In the fleet CUPS web management page, the helix queues are listed as:

[email protected]
[email protected]
etc.

This has changed (at some point in the past, presumably on an upgrade between Etch, Lenny or Squeeze) from

printer1@helix
printer2@helix

The question is, what dictates the naming of the host part of a remote queue? Searched CUPS documentation in vain. Reverse DNS all looks fine on both machines.

Cheers

Tim
