I've spent every odd hour I could spare since yesterday trying to get deja-dup
working again. I was using this successfully before the upgrade to back up my
machine to my NAS box, which is a Samba server. Even though I could browse
the backup files on the NAS box using Dolphin, deja-dup complained that it
couldn't mount the location.
Today, I gave up and installed another backup program. During this, a bunch
of dependencies got installed that were related to Gnome and its libraries.
Acting on a hunch, I tried deja-dup again.
Guess what? It worked!
Then I realised that I'd installed deja-dup before I binned Muon ;-(
