OOPS sent the first return only to Terry, not back to list!! Sorry.
Replying from Terry's return but have read all linked comments up to 8.07pm.
As we have our daughter and family here till the 5th Jan and we will be
in London on 11th I do not want to arrange any meetings till after that
date.
I intend to go to the DLUG meeting on 10th but will not stay till 'full
time' as it's an early start next day.
Thank you Terry for your offer which we may take up after trying first:
I think it would be interesting to get the other Wimborne members to
come along first, one afternoon, to see if we can fix the problems, if
not I'll come back with more detailed requests (and knowledge?).
Terry's network list is more complicated than mine but did highlight a
missing item - NAS Drive - which is another future addition.
I'm also interested in his remote connection to his Mum, as I have
started to give PC's to people who have not used them before (the first
a laptop, next will be the 2 desktops); remote support may be easier!
It looks as if it will be a busy IT year for me!!
