Have previously used, and been very happy with, rackspace cloud hosting (http://www.rackspace.com/cloud/) & positive internet (http://www.positive-internet.com/) I'm currently using, and are very happy with, linode (linode.com - or http://is.gd/I0KbdX if you wanna be nice and use my referral code :-) I was with positive for more than ten years. I was with rackspace from when they started the cloud stuff. Have been with linode for a couple of years. Have had excellent, timely support and pretty much zero down time from all of them. Support mail and phone calls was obviously coming from techie folk rather than the normal idiotic first-line support for all three. (Moved everything to linode in the end because it worked out being slightly cheaper for the stuff I needed - not because of anything bad with rackspace or positive).
