How about an electrician that doesn't know how to change a light bulb? True, he was dismantling the fitting before my associate showed him how. Also there was the rolling mills Chief Engineer who couldn't work out why the mill didn't work when he was stood right next to an empty flange with obviously no driveshaft attached to it. There are many other stories but this isn't the place. We gathered that if a Chinese guy wants to get ahead in engineering he needn't waste time studying, he just calls on his 'Party'. membership.
