great way to get to know OpenLdap on your Linux machine ;-)
Thanks for all the comments.
1. I've tried sym-linking to the address book on the other machine, but couldn't get it working. 2. Just looked at the OpenLDAP site/documentation. A phrase including "nut" and "sledgehammer" comes to mind, but I've also found a GUI editor (LABE), which might make the operation easier if I actually get it all working. 3. The ldapaddrbook site takes me into unknown territory involving jars and jdom.
Pause for thought.
