No. AIUI, and Wikipedia should say, 4.1 downgrades itself to 4.0, 3.x,
2.x, etc., just like all the previous versions. It does mean if you buy
a 4.x device that the Pi3 will be able to support those 4.1 features.

My keyboard doesn't specify the wireless connection other than 2.4GHz.
The current offering from Novatech doesn't either, though it is now £15
instead of £10 that I paid in 6/2012.
