Open the Update Manager, then click on More..., Advanced, History.
Thanks Terry. Now that I look at that, it is hard to say what it was
that could be related. More work needed to investigate further.
I swapped disks for the Zorin disk, installed Kaffeine, and put the
firmware in /lib/firmware as on the other, and it all worked very well.
Of course the one thing that I did not do was run the updates on Zorin.
