I'm using the XFCE desktop, but not Xubuntu. The `Settings' → `Mouse and Touchpad' menu item runs xfce4-mouse-settings(1) from Arch Linux package xfce4-settings 4.12.1-1. Its `Theme' tab shows I have the `Default' theme selected. To the right is `Cursor size: 16'. Increasing that has the pointer jump to larger sizes on 29, and 41.
