Hi Patrick, > I remember when I was told of the existence of this mythical place > called Maplin.
They were selling BBC micro:bit on Amazon for only £10.39 back in March, free delivery. https://amzn.to/2HtJkeY It's a ARM Cortex-M0, 16 MHz, 256 KiB flash, 16 KiB RAM, 3-axis accelerometer and magnetometer, 5×5 grid of red LEDs, with an M0+ to present the USB programming interface. Anyway, I ordered one even though they'd already gone into administration and it promptly arrived without issue. So I only got one. They sold out pretty quick, but they may well still have other items at good prices online as well as on retail park. Cheers, Ralph. -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Tuesday, 2018-05-01 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ New thread: mailto:dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk / CHECK IF YOU'RE REPLYING Reporting bugs well: http://goo.gl/4Xue / TO THE LIST OR THE AUTHOR
