Me too. At Plessey I hired more women than men for my team, and then got a commendation for the quality of people that I chose. It was some sort of research into how people were chosen for jobs. But that was back in early 80's. Of my networking students in the 2000's, they were always a mixed bag. I never did any investigations of the mix.
