Tim,

I've been using FreeCAD 1.0 on Ubuntu installed from the Appimage for several months. There's a learning curve, but some good tutorials on youTube. There are also plugins to simplify creating storage systems, bolts, nuts and screws and more.

Hope this helps.

I have a Bambu P1S with the AMS. Mainly using PLA but have had some success at higher temperatures with Polycarbonate

Regards

Martin H

Anybody into 3D Printing?

Son wanted one for his birthday, now he has one I intend making use of it. So I am just wondering what Linux Software there is available etc. I know that you setup your model in a CAD program and then use the software to slice the model into layers that the printer can handle. Just wonder what the best \friendly CAD software for a 3D newbie.
