Tim,
I've been using FreeCAD 1.0 on Ubuntu installed from the Appimage for
several months. There's a learning curve, but some good tutorials on
youTube. There are also plugins to simplify creating storage systems,
bolts, nuts and screws and more.
Hope this helps.
I have a Bambu P1S with the AMS. Mainly using PLA but have had some
success at higher temperatures with Polycarbonate
Regards

Evening all
Anybody into 3D Printing?
Son wanted one for his birthday, now he has one I intend making use of
it. So I am just wondering what Linux Software there is available etc.
I know that you setup your model in a CAD program and then use the
software to slice the model into layers that the printer can handle.
Just wonder what the best \friendly CAD software for a 3D newbie.
