Recently I did a clean installation of Kubuntu 25.10, with the object of
solving the problem with Chromium which arose recently. It worked, but
now I have a problem with Konqueror.
I posted a bug to Launchpad, but I suspect that the Project is close to
abandonware, because I’ve had no responses. Here is a link to the report:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/konqueror/+bug/2127834
You will see that Kubuntu is not proving particularly helpful with this bug:
1. Normally when a program crashes, Kubuntu pops up a dialogue box that
provides a short-cut to the bug reporting process. This didn't happen.
2. When I launch Konqueror in a shell, there are lots of messages, but
they are not very meaningful (to me anyway). The last message simply says:
'Segmentation fault (core dumped)'.
Can anyone give me any pointers on how to determine the cause of the
crash, so that I may update the bug report?
