I would love to get in and re-use my Facebook (META) portal which is Android, but they have it got it locked down pretty well.

Hi there, I recently signed a petition and wrote to the Competition and Markets Authority about this, so I thought I might as well share it with you guys too. Keep Android Open (https://keepandroidopen.org/) is a campaign to stop Google from locking-down Android and requiring that all developers sign its contract, and hand over money for a developer certificate. This would obviously hurt FOSS, and alternative app stores such as F-Droid, so I assume at least some of you would want to sign the petition too, so here's a direct link to it: https://www.change.org/p/stop-google-from-limiting-apk-file-usage/ There's also an open letter: https://keepandroidopen.org/open-letter Best, Hamish
