Local Tri-state area candidates, preferred. Extensive back ground check.* * * *Summary:* *The Web Developer will be responsible for helping design, develop and enhance Client’s global, object-oriented, multi-tiered web application. This candidate will be asked to leverage their skills in developing the application's user interface and functionality. They should have experience with building web-based e-commerce systems. An understanding of object oriented programming and web technologies is a must. They must have in-depth knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, XML, Web Services, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX and W3C Web Standards. Knowledge of content management and commerce server is a plus.* * * *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * *· Participate in major business application design and creates technical specifications for components of the application. * *· Prepares time schedules for the coding and implementation of new systems. * *· Prototypes and implements web pages, often working with graphics designers, writers, software designers and business units to develop the page concepts and content. * *· Develop static and dynamic web pages for Client, Inc’s worldwide companies and divisions in multiple languages and currencies, utilizing ASP.NET, C#, XML, Web Services, WCF, WPF, SQL Server, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, AJAX, W3C Web Standards and Commerce Server.* *· Assist in developing and analyzing process flows, operational procedures and information requirements within specific business processes through discussions and interviews with users and other IS team members. * *· Design, program, test and implement modifications to business application software according to departmental standards.
