*Location: Raleigh, NC.*
*Rate: $450/hr C2C.{Max}*
*Role overview***
role w Will involve maintenance and development of the GMIS application.
GMIS uses Informatica, Business Objects, Oracle and Java. The candidate
should have a structured approach to design, development and testing due to
the critical nature of the application. The ability to work in a global
team is essential in this role.
*Key Deliverables:***
· Responsible for the migration of complex GMIS Business Objects D/W
Universe
· Assist new GMIS users with Business Objects adhoc reports
· Business Objects performance tuning
· Migrate GMIS End of Life components to strategic virtual platforms
· Cleanup the GMIS universe to optimize reports
*Qualifications/competencies(Please refer below for a complete list of
competencies.)*
· Educated to degree standard, preferably in a numerate subject (or
education supplemented by commercial experience)
· Minimum 2 years working in a commercial environment with a structured
development methodology
· Investment banking or market data (terms & conditions / pricing)
development experience is desirable but not required
· Extensive experience with Business Objects XI R2/R3 (design, coding
standards, performance tuning, and debugging). Minimum 5+ years.
· Strong SQL skills (query design, stored procedure development)
· Working knowledge of UNIX and UNIX scripting
· Experience with Subversion or other version control software is
desirable but not required
· Good communication skills
· Multi-regional team skills (this hire must be able to actively
participate in a global team)
· Organized and delivery focused
