*REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND*

·         Minimum of 3 years IT experience

·         Experience working in a support environment



*Required Skills:*



·         Previous support experience

·         SQL and database knowledge

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the
ability to communicate with technical and non-technical parties, and provide
the business and management with concise updates regarding issues

·         Ability to work in high-pressure situations and flexibility

·         Ability to work independently and in a team

·         Organized and good time management

·         Analytical and systematic problem solving skills

·         Visual Basic

·         Ability to prioritize efficiently

·         Good time management skill

·         Ability to multi-task



*Desired Skills:*



·         ITIL knowledge

·         Demonstrate ability to document and deliver on project related
work

·         UNIX

·         XML

·         Understanding of batch schedulers (e.g. Control M)

·         Understanding of excel pivot tables and excel report building



*Overall Responsibilities:*

Perform Business Application Support analyst duties for CTS suite of
applications.  Overall responsibilities include:



·         Serve as initial point of contact for questions and problems on
CTS applications

·         Log all incidents received via phone and emails in Remedy/ITSM

·         Accurately categorize and prioritize issues

·         Ensure service levels for issue escalation and resolution are met



*Functional Responsibilities:*

·         Log all work performed and resolution details in Remedy/ITSM

·         Provide timely updates on the status of non-closed issues to the
affected parties.

·         Communicate issue resolution details and root cause information to
affected parties upon closure of issue making sure to use verbiage
appropriate for the intended audience.

·         Add issue detail and resolution info to the CTS knowledge base
