Our client, a leading Asset Management firm located in midtown Manhattan, is seeking a qualified candidate to join their IT team. Job Descriptions: Software Developer Our client's Quantitative Investments IT group is seeking a software developer with strong ETL skills and experience using Informatica. The individual will be a self-starter who can work independently on multiple tasks. This position provides the opportunity to directly work with the Portfolio Managers and Analysts in a fast paced environment supporting investment products across a range of asset classes. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, data analysis, designing, development and on-going maintenance of systems. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of tangible contributions to successful development projects. Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Skills Required: 2-5 years hands-on experience in ETL-Informatica ( 8.x Preferred) Hand-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, specifically mapplets, advanced transformations, reusable sessions and scheduling. Strong SQL and Database design skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good collaboration and communication skills Experience in Java and/or C# will be a strong plus.
