Here is the requirement: Analysis and definition of an organization's information architecture . Understanding and design of taxonomies for customer organizations . Design and documentation of the appropriate SharePoint solution based on information architecture, taxonomy analysis and the customer's functional and non-functional requirements . A working (analyst's) knowledge of Microsoft's current Office SharePoint Server 2007 platform and supporting technologies . The ability to produce appropriate requirements and design documentation for projects Designs, develops and tests program units; works on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems; participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements. Prepares and updates documentation as appropriate. Participates in knowledge transfer to support team. A journeyman level would be fully trained and competent in the role, but have less experience than the senior level person. Typically at least three years of experience in the role would be needed to reach this level. For emerging technologies the experience level may be less, but the ability to learn and experience in similar technologies would be present.
