*Requirement for IBM System Admins*
*Location:* GA *Duration:* * *12+ Months I need (6) contractors for a minimum 1 year term... I need qualified individuals that are strong in Linux, scripting and sysadmin level work. The job description below is all encompassing of our typical sysadmins, but the critical factors would be as noted above. It is important that the candidate is able to work onsite in our location. Position Summary: This position is responsible for administration of a wide variety of IBM and other brand enterprise servers and implementation of several upgrade and improvement - related projects. Projects will include automation of existing procedures and enhancement of several key systems. Some weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required. Good verbal / written communication skills and experience working within a group are a must, as is the ability to multi-task. Supported systems include: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Windows, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Checkpoint Firewall–1 / Provider-1, ISS Site Protector, F5 technologies, SAN / NAS technologies, Nagios, Cisco, McAfee Intrushield, etc Responsibilities: •Support MSS systems and customers •Perform project based implementation work as assigned •Automation / scripting (shell, Perl, PHP, etc.) •Work closely with Security Operations and other stakeholders to resolve issues •Create technical documentation Qualifications: •2;+ years systems administration experience •Experience working in complex environments •Solid Scripting / automation experience •Experience creating an maintaining documentation Thanks & Regards *Ajay * *(214-295-5100)* ePower.
