Senior Salesforce Developer 

-One Position

-3-6 month engagement with possibility for extensions 

 

Senior  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com Developer (Wood Dale, IL or
Oakbrook Terrace, IL - TBD)

 

 

Required Skills:

 

§  5-7 years  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com development. 

§  5-7 years APEX development. 

§  Working experience on an enterprise level (system supporting 500+ users).


§  Advanced Module Knowledge. 

§  Excellent communication skills. 

 

Overview:

 

The Senior Application Developer will develop software and maintain business
applications built on a  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com platform
using Apex, Visual Force programming languages and  <http://salesforce.com/>
Salesforce.com Metadata API.

 

Responsibilities:

 

§  This individual will evaluate business requests, gather business
requirements, analyze, design and develop innovative  <http://force.com/>
Force.com solutions to meet the business and end-users requirements. 

§  Design, develop, test and support custom  <http://salesforce.com/>
salesforce.com applications software using Apex Triggers, Visual Force or
Sites pages, Web Services,  <http://saleforce.com/> Saleforce.com Metadata
API etc. as appropriate using code authoring tools such as Eclipse IDE to
satisfy the applications’ business requirements. 

§  Perform  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com configuration and
administrative functions as required.

§  Ability/willingness to mentor junior developers in the team. Provide
input to users or other teams who seek consultant’s input. 

§  Complete other projects and duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications:

the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently

§  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

§  5 years of verifiable hands-on experience in developing
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com based business applications using
Apex triggers, SOAP and REST based Web services, Visual Force,
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com Metadata API, Sites etc. 

§  Experience working as a  <http://salesforce.com/> salesforce.com
developer on a minimum of 4-5 full lifecycle  <http://salesforce.com/>
Salesforce.com implementation and integration projects (at least 2 of these
must have involved integration with  <http://non-salesforce.com/>
non-Salesforce.com based applications or systems). 

§  Proficient in using Eclipse-based  <http://salesforce.com/>
Salesforce.com IDE to develop and deploy  <http://force.com/> force.com
software. 

§  Experienced in using Apex Data Loader, scripted data loader. 

§  Experienced in / familiar with  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com’s
Ant-based Migration Tool. 

§  Good understanding of all  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com out of
the box standard objects and functionality and the know-how to determine how
they can be used to fulfill specific business requirements in an
application. 

§  Good understanding of how and when to use out of the box
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com lead assignment rules and when to
use custom code for lead assignment. 

§  Good understanding of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies. 

§  Good understanding of object oriented concepts and relational database
concepts. 

§  Ability to translate high level business requirements into
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com implementation requirements and
design. 

§  Understanding of  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com deployment,
release management techniques and constraints. 

§  Some working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS. 

§  Ability and flexibility to work overtime / weekend hours to meet planned
project deadlines if needed. 

§  Previous experience in Higher Education industry preferred. 

§   <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com  administrator, developer
training. 

§   <http://force.com/> Force.com developer certification highly preferred. 

 

 

Mid-Level Salesforce Developer 

-Two Positions

Overview:

 

The Application Developer will develop software for Client’s
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com platform using Apex, Visual Force
programming languages and  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com Metadata
API.  This role will work directly with the Salesforce Development Manager
and other key stake holders to insure timely delivery of development.

 

Responsibilities:

 

§  This individual will design, implement, and test
<http://salesforce.com/> salesforce.com application software using
<http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com platform technologies/programming
languages to satisfy applications’ business requirements in a timely manner
based on project schedule, with expected software quality. 

§  Create custom objects, custom fields, workflows, validation rules, etc. 

§  Migrate data between various  <http://saleforce.com/> Saleforce.com
environments/organizations using Apex Data Loader/Salesforce.com’s Ant-based
Migration Tool as appropriate. 

§  Support changes to existing lead assignment rules and create new rules as
needed. 

§  Add new users to various  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com
environments as requested. 

§  Perform  <http://salesforce.com/> Salesforce.com administrative functions
as required. 

§  Complete other projects and duties as assigned.
