PROCESS:

The objection team uses an Excel workbook called the Objections Matrix to
keep track of objections and inquiry letters received each day. The Matrix
is updated in a manual process by a team member. The Matrix also is used as
a reporting tool to provide data about the volume of objections processed.

PROBLEMS with the use of the Objection Matrix:

1. Duplication of data entry tasks: The entry into the Objection
Matrix duplicates information that we already have in B-web (i.e. account
information, debtor names, court information).

2. Inefficiency in reviewing objection status: The objections matrix
is not capable of storing all information necessary for process in a way
that is useful to the team or anyone within B-Line.

a. Notes within Objection Matrix too small for status entry, so have
to place in bWeb. This requires going between the two systems to know
what’s going on with the objection

b. Can’t attach documentation to spreadsheet

3. File crashes and lost data result from capacity constraints of
excel-based data Excel spreadsheets and sharing issues.

4. The creation of weekly or monthly department numbers can take time
to gather and are not always available easily. Multiple applications are
being used (B-web and excel matrix) to track and run the process.

   1. *Project Description***

We need a process that allows entry on receipt of objection data fields
through B-Web interface that will result in the objection data visible
through B-Web access. This will replace the duplicate entry that the team
currently must do in both bWeb and the Objection Matrix. The bWeb interface
would be accessed within the account from the Account Information menu list
as a link to the Objections entry tasks.

We will need to create individual account level fields currently on the
Objection matrix that are not included in the current BLiner databases.

Queues have already been created to capture all objection accounts requiring
administrative and managerial review (OB1 Objection-Admin Review and
OB2-Objection Manager Review). The status events placed on the data entry
will direct the objections to the appropriate queues.

B-reports will need to be created to track the number of objections received
per week, month or year.

   1. *1.2 Objectives & Deliverables** *

   1. *1.2.1 Objectives/Goals***

 Ability to track status of Objections and Inquiry letters without
the need for the Excel Objection Matrix

 Visibility for other departments to view status of objections that
are received in the office

 Reduction of hours needed for entering and tracking Objections
data due to duplicate entry

 Standardize the creation of periodic reporting on management of
objections to upper management

   1. *1.2.2 Deliverables***
            1. * *

 A section for Objection information in bweb Account Summary

 Objection Data fields in B-Liner

 B-Reports on status
