*Job Title: PeopleSoft CS Technical- Developer* *Location: Tucson, AZ* *Duration: 3 – 6 Months* * * *Job Description:* * * *Specific duties include:* • Determine scope and functional requirements for a software package to assist in all phases of the Graduate Student Tracking System • Assist Developers with feature design and data architecture • Recommend modifications to existing software as needed • Demonstrate working functional knowledge of software design lifecycle • Demonstrate working functional knowledge of relational database design • Mentor University employees and communicate best-practices and skills so others can assume these responsibilities in the future • Work with other developers, be able to provide accurate status to Technical Leads • Complete development in an expedited development environment to meet project timelines *Special Qualifications:* *Required Skills:* o Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate highly technical information to a diverse audience—both technical and non-technical. o Must know how to organize, coordinate and communicate work breakdown structures for software products. o Broad knowledge of the Peoplesoft Student Administration suite. *Optional Skills:* o Demonstrated experience programming in object-oriented PHP and the Model-View-Controller pattern. o Demonstrated experience in web application/user interface design.
