PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical – Developer  
Location: Tucson, AZ
Duration: 3-6 months+
The PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Technical – Developer will be working with the 
Campus Solutions Technical Leads, Campus Solutions-other Developers, and the 
Campus Solutions Implementation Team members.
 
Specific duties include:
•      Assist Developers with modification design and programming
•      Assist Developers with troubleshooting and debugging
•      Develop modifications (customizations, automations) as needed
•      Demonstrate working functional knowledge with PS Campus Solutions  8.9 
and/or 9.0
•      Use Application Designer and PeopleCode to modify the system.
•      Use Application Engine and SQR to write batch programs and to create 
inbound and outbound interfaces.
•      Implement PeopleSoft Security and Student Administration Security.
•      Mentor University employees and communicate best-practices and skills so 
others can assume these responsibilities in the future
•      Work with other developers, be able to provide accurate status to 
Technical Leads
•      Complete development in an expedited development environment to meet 
project timelines.
 
Special Qualifications:
 
•      REQUIRED:
 MUST BE AVAILABLE (EVEN PART TIME) NO LATER THAN APRIL 26, 2010.
 MUST have experience with Campus Solutions 9.0.
 MUST have experience troubleshooting various Student Financials (SF) 
processes such as 
(but not limited to):
o  Student Financials
o  GL Interface
o  SF Billing
o  SF Cashiering
o  SF Student Refunding 
 MUST have experience troubleshooting Tuition Calculation.
 MUST have experience with the Student Career Program Plan stack and its 
impact to Tuition Calculation.
 MUST have experience modifying existing paper bill.
 MUST have experience with COBOL tracing.
 
•      Required Skills:
o  Proven track record of using advanced development skills to expedite 
development efforts
o  Working knowledge of the PeopleSoft Security architecture and the Student 
Administration security
o  Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and modifying PeopleSoft Application 
Packages
o  Demonstrated experience modifying PeopleSoft Self Service 
o  Demonstrated development experience with Component Interface, Application 
Engine
o  Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate highly technical 
information to a diverse audience—both technical and non-technical.
o  Must know how to organize, coordinate and communicate work breakdown 
structures for the PeopleSoft software product suite.  
 
•      Desired Skills:
o  Financial Aid processing knowledge.
o  Experience in troubleshooting Forms Engine and Equation Engine.
o  Experience in troubleshooting GL Interface.
o  Experience using Cybersource for self service credit card transactions.
 
•      Optional Skills:
o  Working knowledge of Integration Broker and troubleshooting IB messages
o  Development and troubleshooting experience with SQR
o  Ability to assist in tuning application performance 
o  Experience with OBIEE, EPM, SOA tools (BPEL, ESB)
o  Experience with integration with PS Enterprise Portal
