*Job Description:*
1. Over 10 years of IT experience with over 8 years as a oracle database
administrator
2  Very good hands on knowledge and experience in Data warehousing concepts,
methodologies and implementation at an Enterprise level
3. Strong experience in dimensional modeling and relational data modeling
4. 10+ years experience building large scale databases in support of
enterprise data warehouses/data marts
5. Strong Knowledge of partitioning
6. Strong experience in performance tuning of large databases and proficient
in database optimization techniques.
7. Strong understanding of Oracle Database Architecture back ground
8. Strong hands on database application design and implementation experience
9. Database replication/synchronization techniques. Experience in supporting
Oracle database replication, preferably in a master-to-master configuration
using advanced queuing
10.Experience as a lead database administrator supporting large, enterprise
deployments of multiple instances of Oracle and Oracle Real Application
Clusters (RAC) (i.e. 9i, 10g) and
11. Good experience in load balancing with database servers
12. Experience supporting Oracle running on a LINUX OS, Solaris
13. Experience with LINUX shell scripting.
14. Thorough understanding of SDLC and managing release management and
procedures.
15. Very good communication skills, inter-personal skills, and facilitation
skills
