*Position:BA/User Acceptance Testing (rational toolset) - HEALTHCARE Location: Richmond, VA Length : 1 year Rate : $30/hr* * * This position is more a Business Analyst position than a Business System Analyst position. The qualified candidate needs demonstrated experience: o translating business requirements into the UAT test cases o performing UAT and document UAT test results o defining business processes o soliciting and documenting business requirements o using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) The qualified candidate needs to have the following skills: o strong verbal and written communication abilities o strong analytical skills (i.e. evaluate / research root causes to failed test cases and recommend corrective actions) o ability to solicit detailed information from high level concepts / requirements o attentive, ability to capture relevant information from discussions (e.g. capture a test case from a design discussion) o ability to learn new business environments / business processes quickly o understands business process concepts – swinlanes, SIPOCs The position will work with subject matter experts to: § Translate project’s business requirements into UAT test cases § Document UAT test cases § Assist subject matter experts in performing UAT test cases § Troubleshoot testing errors in conjunction w/ technology and business teams § Assist in general project documentation, which may include revising requirements based on approved change requests, documenting business processes, etc. § Performing specific research and analysis as needed by the project.
