Job Title: Bladelogic Consultant Location: New York, NY Locals preferred Duration: 6 Months + Rate: $60/hr Job Description: We are looking for Bladelogic Consultants at various levels for deployment and integration. The role will include project management, escalation and support on a wide range of systems, including specialized business applications and general productivity applications. Responsible for deploying software products using the BMC Blade Logic (Marimba) Toolsets. Roles and Responsibilities: Duties will include * Provide deployment project management skills to deploy applications, application patches * BMC Blade Logic (Marimba, Atrium) planning and release management knowledge. * Identification and ownership of regional projects from the time that they are planning through to deployment and closure. * Coordinate projects with Global Projects teams. * Working with global/regional project teams for system and application rollouts whilst ensuring minimum disruption to users. * Working with regional escalation team acting as the Primary testers for new projects and assist in coordinating regional testing at the site level when required. * Pilot and roll out updated versions of the standard Windows operating system build. * Test and Pilot applications. * Provide coordination support for third party systems problems. * Liaison role with senior business and IT managers. * Leading Team Required skills and experience: * Deployment Project Management skills. * Blade Logic (Marimba) product and toolset knowledge and skills are required * BMC BladeLogic Application Release Automation * BMC BladeLogic Client Automation (formerly Marimba) * BMC BladeLogic Network Automation * BMC Atrium Orchestrator * BMC Solutions for Cisco Unified Computing System * Basic SQL Knowledge. Ability to write basic SQL queries * Good MS Office skills.
