Responsibilities include research and development of new technology and engineering best practices, as well as the implementation of complex and comprehensive solutions for enterprise and Line of Business applications.* * As a Senior Web Administrator, you will be the SME for the Oracle/BEA WebLogic Servers & will be expected to support & maintain web & application services on a shared services farm in a distributed computing env. You will be responsible for problem resolution, perf tuning and analysis, proactive problem prevention, detection, circumvention & resolution to root cause. You will also provide application of software patches as well as release and version upgrades of O/S's & associated s/w to maintain currency & enhance reliability and supportability. You will also handle system security, integration, analysis, architecture, & network support. You will provide technical leadership to the web admin team and to its clients. You will eventually have secondary support responsibility for shared WebSphere farm. * Qualifications:* * * * *• Minimum of 3 years of Web Admin experience including perf analysis &tuning • Very strong experience in administering & maintaining Oracle/BEA WebLogic Server/Portal 9.x & 10.x • Experience in Sun One Java Web Server, Apache Web Server • Strong problem analysis & resolution skills including dump, native & heap memory analysis • Strong knowledge of h/w and s/w configs, clustering technologies, complex storage technologies, LDAP/SSO integration and multi-domain systems • Experience w/ AIX 5.3 & 6.1 & Solaris 10 • Experience w/ scripting in shell scripting (bash) & Jython (or Python).
