*Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft Oracle DBA Consultant*
*Location: Washington DC*
*Complete Description*:
Database management covering creation and maintenance of data
dictionaries, data models, performance tuning. Coordinates database changes
and tests. The position will support development for: PeopleSoft, PASS
(Ariba), FileNet, SharePoint JCAPS/Egate Enterprise applications and HSMP.
The individual will also be building new database Infrastructure for
migrating a data center from one location to another. Configure all the
databases and support testing thereof. It will also provide administrative
and technical support for Data Conversion and Performance Management.
Additional responsibilities include the installation of Oracle software,
patches, trouble-shooting problems, Performance Tuning, Software
Configuration, Capacity Planning, Architecture and Migrations. This
individual will build the DC government’s Enterprise applications including
Application Server, Process Scheduler server, Web Server and oracle
databases. Candidate must have 10+ years of experience implementing and
supporting new Time and labor, eModules, data conversion and performance
management modules. Candidate must possess strong background in Oracle 10g
database administration specifically RAC, performance tuning and backup and
recovery using RMAN. Candidate must be able to support Ariba Procurement,
Egate/JCAPS Integration, Mercury Quality Center and Dimensions databases in
a high available environment. Prior knowledge of Government systems is
desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and prior experience with
troubleshooting problems; documenting and reporting back after corrective
measures have been taken.

*Required Skills:*
- 8 Years of Oracle Database administration on UNIX
- 5 Years of Oracle Database perf. Tuning, DB Changes &tests
- 5 Years of Oracle Database administration with v10G and above
- 8 Years of PeopleSoft Database Administration Experience
- 5 Years of Experience with PeopleSoft 8.8 along with Peopletools 8.46
- 1 Year of Peopletools upgrade experience to version 9.0 to higher
- 2 Years of Experience implementing eRecruit/HR
- 5 Years of PeopleSoft implementations with installation/configuration,
on IBM pSeries
- 5 Years of Capacity Planning for PeopleSoft HR/ Payroll system to
support 50k users.
- 8 Years of Supporting PeopleSoft application in a HA Architecture.
- 5 Years of Experience with RMAN backup and recovery
- 5 Years of Experience with Oracle Data Guard
*Highly Desired Skills:*
- 2 Years of Experience with Ariba, Seebeyond, eBusiness suite in HA
