The position is required to perform work with a high level of accountability and confidentiality; however this position shoulders a core responsibility for completing work and tasks as assigned in a timely manner. Effectively learning and utilizing information security tools to perform vulnerability analysis; reporting, monitoring, and incident response analysis; risk analysis, and risk mitigation; ensuring standards are met and maintained through the monitoring of automated and/or manual tools and related reporting; Working to ensure that security procedures are implemented and enforced. Being a self starter but also accepting assignments and direction from the Manager or Principal Security Engineer(s) on matters relating to Policy and Documentation Authoring, Threat & Vulnerability Analysis, Security Events Monitoring, Incident Response; cross-training with department team members.
